Applicants typically provide very little personal information, and certainly nothing that would reflect badly on them. Nationwide can provide you with a fast and accurate picture of who will be occupying your property and any problems they have had in the past, along with our Tenant Scorecard to help you make decisions based on specific credit factors. Property Management Systems integration is standard, and optional packages are available to integrate our platform with AMSI, QuickLease Pro, VaultWare, RentoMeter, and Yardi.
- Criminal Records
- State: We will search for criminal information in the statewide criminal records repository in the state requested. Searches are per name checked unless otherwise noted. Availability of historical records by court. Repositories limit results to convictions and/or serious felonies.
Federal: We will check for Criminal Records matching your applicant's name in the federal courts located within the state requested. Searches are per court and per name checked unless otherwise noted.
Criminal Records Check: We will search for criminal information in the primary criminal court in the jurisdiction(s) requested. Searches are per court and per name checked unless otherwise noted. Availability of historical records will vary by court, but will include a minimum of 7 years.
National CrimeNet Criminal Check: We review electronic criminal records from 50 States. Data sources vary by state but may include state and county court dockets, incarceration records, and arrest records. Searches are per name checked.

- Patriot Act Search
- We will verify that your applicant's name does not appear on barred lists associated with the Patriot Act and national security. Our search includes over 17 sources including OFAC, FBI's Most Wanted Persons, and various terrorist watch lists.
- Nationwide Sex Offender Check
- We will provide a nationwide search of sex offender records in all 50 states plus D.C. Records shielded from public disclosure will not be accessible.
- Housing Court Records
- We will search available court data for records of eviction proceedings. Searches are per court unless noted.
- Eviction Database
- We will search our electronic database for eviction records. Includes records from 44 states. Coverage may vary.
- Landlord Validation
- Our staff will contact prior landlords to verify information given by prospective tenant. We will verify residence period and inquire about payment history and property damage.
- Employment History
- We will confirm dates of employment, title, and eligibility for rehire.
- Reference Check
- Our staff will contact the references as provided. SIR and Subscriber will develop a list of up to 10 probing questions that will be asked of each reference. Answers will be documented and returned to you.
- Credit Report
- We will provide a credit bureau report on Applicant.
- Social Security Validation
- We will review credit records to establish a match between the social security number and the applicant's name. This search also reveals historical addresses used by the applicant.
- Adverse Action Notification
- At your request, we will mail the required adverse action notice(s) to the applicant.
