We can pre-screen a candidate or conduct an in-depth background search, whatever you need to reduce your company’s risk and potential loss. Our feature-rich platform allows you to automatically generate email invitations requesting applicants to enter their data, and online background-check release forms. HRIS and ATS integration is standard, and optional packages are available to integrate our platform with ERC Data Plus, myHRdesk, PeopleSoft, UltiPro, HRsmart Enterprise, PeoplePath, Taleo Business Edition, and ADP Virtual Edge.

- Criminal Records
- State: We will search for criminal information in the statewide criminal records repository in the state requested. Searches are per name checked unless otherwise noted. Availability of historical records by court. Repositories limit results to convictions and/or serious felonies.
Federal: We will check for Criminal Records matching your applicant's name in the federal courts located within the state requested. Searches are per court and per name checked unless otherwise noted.
Criminal Records Check: We will search for criminal information in the primary criminal court in the jurisdiction(s) requested. Searches are per court and per name checked unless otherwise noted. Availability of historical records will vary by court, but will include a minimum of 7 years.
National CrimeNet Criminal Check: We review electronic criminal records from 50 States. Data sources vary by state but may include state and county court dockets, incarceration records, and arrest records. Searches are per name checked.
- State: We will search for criminal information in the statewide criminal records repository in the state requested. Searches are per name checked unless otherwise noted. Availability of historical records by court. Repositories limit results to convictions and/or serious felonies.
- Patriot Act Search
- We will verify that your applicant's name does not appear on barred lists associated with the Patriot Act and national security regulations. Our search includes over 17 sources including OFAC, FBI's Most Wanted Persons, and various terrorist watch lists.
- Nationwide Sex Offender Check
- We will provide a nationwide search of sex offender records in all 50 states plus D.C. Records shielded from public disclosure will not be accessible.
- Driving Record
- We will compile a Driving History from any of the states where records are available by law. All results are returned in compliance with the DPPA. NH & PA have special requirements.
- Commercial Driver’s License
- This service will identify up to three states where your prospect holds (or has held) a CDL - Commercial Drivers License.
- Professional Credential Verification
- Our staff will verify professional licenses, certifications, or other credentials.
- Reference Check
- Our staff will contact the references as provided. NSS and Subscriber will develop a list of up to 10 probing questions that will be asked of each reference. Answers will be documented and returned to you.
- Education History Verification
- We will confirm degrees or certificates claimed by your applicant and check the accreditation of the issuing body.
- Employment History Verification
- We will confirm dates of employment, title, and eligibility for rehire.
- Drug Screening
- Five (5) Panel Screen for Amphetamines, Cannabinoids, Cocaine Metabolite, Opiates, Phencyclidine (PCP). A Ten (10) Panel Screen is also available.
- Worker Compensation Report
- We will search for a history of workers compensation claims which may uncover an injury that would preclude the applicant from performing at their new job. The search may also reveal a previous employer that the applicant omitted from their application. This search must be performed after an offer of employment has been made and employers should not revoke a job offer simply because a record exists. Employers should use caution to comply with ADA and other anti-discrimination laws.
- Employee Credit Report
- A credit bureau report with HR sensitive data removed to protect your firm. We will also mail a copy of the credit report to the applicant to help you comply with FCRA laws.
- Social Security Validation
- We will review credit records to establish a match between the social security number and the applicant's name. This search also reveals historical addresses used by the applicant.
- Financial/Bank Sanctions Check
- We will screen your applicant (or vendor) to determine if sanctions have been levied by your institution’s governing authority. We offer checks for FRB, FDIC, NCUA, OCC, and OTS. We can also run this service to check all existing employees and contractors on an annual or bi-annual basis.
- Healthcare Sanctions Check (OIG)
- We will screen your applicant (or vendor) to determine if sanctions have been imposed by the Department of Health & Human Services, Office of Inspector General (OIG). For an additional fee, we can also search for state level sanctions. This service can also be used to check existing employees and contractors on an annual or bi-annual basis.
- Adverse Action Notification
- At your request, we will mail the required pre-adverse and post-adverse action notices to the applicant.
- Assessment Testing
- Our online test measures seven work-related interpersonal competencies and general reasoning skills. Results are scored against national psychometric averages to determine suitability and are presented in an easy to read Red, Yellow, and Green format.
