When you receive our reports you can be certain that all requirements relevant to the information we provide have been met. State and federal laws, however, place much of the ultimate responsibility for compliance on the employer/landlord. An FCRA Certified Staff – Every year, our production staff must take and pass a test competency examination regarding the FCRA and its regulations, as written and administered by the National Credit Reporting Association.

Adverse Action Letters – Our platform gives clients the ability to generate compliant pre/post adverse action letters that they may mail themselves, or have NSS fulfill on your behalf – at the push of a button.

Candidate Releases – We provide a prototype release for clients to use in securing permission to request a candidate’s credit report.

Policy Documentation – Employers may consult with Nationwide in developing a policy for documenting their processes for compliance, consistency, and the avoidance of discrimination in hiring.

Technical Compliances – Client data is maintained at the highest levels of security without the need to compromise on accessibility. Our web ordering platform boasts an enterprise grade application architecture that ensures each client’s screening data is safe and accessible on a 24/7 basis. We incorporate leading edge technology that provides for SSL acceleration, server load balancing and server clustering. SSL acceleration is achieved by offloading the processor intensive operations of encryption and decryption of SSL communications onto specialized hardware, thus freeing up the servers to process work requests for the fastest possible page loads and transitions. Load Balancing provides for the routing of work requests to the server that will process it in the shortest time. Server clustering protects clients from being affected by the unlikely event of a hardware failure: user requests will simply be routed to another server – seamlessly and transparently.

  • Hosts its web ordering system in a Tier 1 data center that has also achieved SAS70 certifications.
